Oh I will say it might be a little player bias but I think his numbers line up well enough. Offense. Defense. Longevity. He is going to get in first ballot regardless and like I said so far the only person that I've seen not put him in is doing his own agenda. That irks me a little.

Maybe there will be more.

He should get in regardless but it's pretty common for some voters to intentionally not vote for a lot of the candidates in their first few years of eligibility, in part because they are trying to get other players in before they get to the veterans committee.

Beltre was an excellent player but wasn't so overwhelmingly good that I think he earned unanimous entry.

The Rangers have a great history with arbitration, so I think Garcia will be fine.

No Montgomery is frustrating, but he's asking way more than they thought he would. They might still get him.

Garcia can't go anywhere. He is eligible for Arbitration and he will get his money if it goes there.

Texas is hurting right now because of the Bally sports situation. They don't have a TV deal and Bally was suppose to offer a settlement this past Wednesday. It got pushed back to the 19th and I think that is the holdup on the Monty signing. At least I hope that is.
