I always root for Texas teams. Kind of annoying most Houstonians root against the Cowboys but whatever. Go Stros!

Which is why I hate the Texans.

But other than that, I'm Pro-Texas teams.

Just a shame Houston people hate Dallas so much.

Still, I'm really hoping the Astros can do this for the city.

Baseball is going through a good phase now, Astros, Dodgers, Indians, Nats, Yankees all good teams that are fun to watch. At least as much as baseball is.

Like I said, they hate all things Dallas despite the fact that Dallas doesn't return that disdain.

It's the reason I've always enjoyed when Dallas teams beat Houston teams because I know how salty they get over it.

But outside of the Texans, I have nothing against other Houston teams and actually wish them well. Same for all of Texas.

I don't hate the Aggies or Tech or Baylor the way other people do. Yes, I do get a chuckle out of seeing the Aggies fail since I am a Longhorns fan after all, but when it's bowl season, I'm pulling for Texas schools every time.

Anyway, the Cowboys really helped both the Texans and the city of Houston out a lot during the storm. And then last night, the Omni hotel in downtown Dallas honored the Astros.

I just hope at least some of these Houston folks finally open their eyes and see that Dallas is not the city they make it out to be.
