You all weren't big fans of Sean Payton when he was here under Parcells. Too bad we lost all that post history multiple times. But that's the fact because I remember. Fassell pulled playcalling from him and then Parcells threw him a bone with Dallas.

Oh, I know some of you will come on here and say you liked Payton back then and that wasn't you, but most of you are completely full of shit.

Think about it. You can't name more than a handful of Cowboys coaches this board has actually liked.

Nobody was overly worried about Payton leaving but I can tell you I had Campbell at the top of my list a few years ago.

I thought the McCarthy hiring was fine too, but hey.

At any rate, there are so many factors at play that determine whether a HC works out or not. Johnson might be an absolute genius and leader of men, but what if Williams tears his ACL next year or just actually sucks?

What if any other assortment of random things happen to torpedo his tenure there that's outside of his control?
