Yeah I mean if he lacked vision or balance we wouldn't be talking about him at all.

But I wouldn't be surprised if the Cowboys love Jeanty. Hell I think everyone loves Jeanty. His balance really is insane. That's his one quality that I think jumps off the page every time you watch him. He isn't the most elusive, the fastest, the most powerful. But goddamn guys just can't get him to the ground. His balance is elite elite.

That combination of strength, vision, and balance is what made Emmitt so special.

Jeanty seems faster than Emmitt

I hate bringing up Emmitt because he was so unique and special but balance and vision were his elite qualities. He wasn't the biggest, fastest or most powerful. But the balance and vision had him impossible to tackle. And that skill set also kept him from taking a lot of big hits which led to a long career.

You see those similarities with Jeanty. When he gets hit it's like the impact never effected him. He just sort of keeps going. You'll see a guy hit him, he might bounce back a yard and then his motion just never seems disrupted. I'm not convinced I want him at 12 but there is no question I want the guy on my NFL team.

Despite the desperate need at DT, if we took this guy at 12 most people would be good with it
