True, but he'd be more likely to push the Joneses to sign FA help.It is. He won't have that in the NFL. And on top of that, he won't have a team full of a bunch of star struck kids that eat up the Prime Time bullshit. I don't think NFL vets will like that for long.
Lord. By that measuring stick there isn’t anything new for Jerry to try other than coaching himself.Gailey.
Yeah I was mostly joking too. I'm sure Jerry has a pretty sizable amount of assets outside of just the Cowboys organization too.I was mostly just joking, but yeah, I thought the problem was usually more with family members squabbling over the assets and having to sell to split them up.
Maybe. But I highly doubt it. And even if we do, who's picking them? Deion? Jerry?True, but he'd be more likely to push the Joneses to sign FA help.

I don't want Deion, just looking for that silver & blue lining.Maybe. But I highly doubt it. And even if we do, who's picking them? Deion? Jerry?
I'll be interested to see what other serious white candidates he interviews besides Moore, meaning Carroll or one of the hotshot coordinators. If the answer is "none," then the fix was in from Day 1.Who’s the favorite as of right now?
Leslie Frazier? That Muslim the Jets fired?
I'm fine keeping Zimmer, need an OC that's currently in the league and ideally part of the McVay/Shannahan tree.Shurmur and Zimmer?

he wouldn't have a say in the matterI'm just say that I have my doubts that Deion would bring in any coordinators that we'd get excited about.

This is where I'm at, Moore is a better NFL HC candidate on paper given his track record (as evidenced by being somewhat in the conversation for other jobs) but we all know if he comes here it's just a dysfunctional "family picture" situation where he'll be walked all over.I think it's the opposite.
Moore isn't some strong-minded individual.
He's not a hard-nosed coach or anybody that's going to command the respect of the locker room.
And he damn sure isn't going to stand up to Jerry in any way.
Deion is probably the perfect candidate to handle the circus because he IS the circus. That's why I've been pleasantly surprised at both his coaching style and his coaching demeanor.
And while he is taking that responsibility with more seriousness than I ever imagined, he still rolls with a large entourage and loves the attention that comes from what he's doing.
So if anyone was made to coach under our tent? It's that guy.
I don't think he's the perfect coach, but I do believe he's the perfect personality for this environment because he knows exactly how to navigate within it.
No, it was.
I see what you did there. You know that's not where he was going with that comment.
No one here will quit this board over a shitty coach hire.
Either you will still be here or you will start a new account and still be here.
That would be a revolting combination.Shurmur and Zimmer?
He'd definitely be the "OC" under Moore, maybe even Deion, who knows? As far as current Washington Passing Game Coordinator and former Eagles OC Brian Johnson goes, you might as well start penciling his ass in somewhere.
From 2014-16, Johnson worked as the quarterbacks coach at Mississippi State. He mentored quarterback Dak Prescott as Prescott became one of the best quarterbacks in SEC history. Prescott became one of two quarterbacks in SEC history to throw for 8,500 yards and rush for 2,000 yards. In 2015, Prescott was named a finalist for the Manning and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Awards after setting school records in completions (316), completion percentage (66.2), passing yards (3,793) and efficiency rating (151.7).
