Yea that's what happens when you just ship out one of your best players for nothing and then let a guy like Gregory go without making any real effort at replacing them. For now I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that Steele can generally give us what Collins gave us at RT.

But we're still the best team in the division, just not by the huge margin that we were last year. I think we're about a 9-11 win team, the Eagles are about a 7-10 win team, Giants and Skins about 6-9.

There's definitely a scenario where we bottom out a bit and only win 9 games while the others catch us or very slightly pass us, but I think we're still probably at least 50/50 to win the division.
If any one of them had a QB, bad things man.

I am not expecting shit this year, honestly. One and done again, at best. I just don't see how they are going to rebound from a disastrous offseason by simply utilizing the draft.

If any of them had a decent QB I think they'd just be about even as us. I don't think any of the other teams in the division are clearly better than us even if you take QB out of the equation.

Which is obviously much worse than the current situation, but still.

Not going to happen again, and not with all our NFC least opponents at once.

And then there’s the rest of the draft

Be prepared for a more competitive division than you think.

It'll be more competitive, that's only natural when two division opponents have two 1st's, plus the general chaotic nature of the NFL (and especially the NFC East).

With that said, we were leaps and bounds better than the division last year and we're still the best team unless Hurts or Jones make a quantum leap forward, or Wentz somehow time travels back to 2017.

Most importantly we have the best QB by far in the division, but also the best skill position talent (although the gap is closing), an OL that is on par with the others in the division, the best defensive player in the division (might be able to argue Allen but Parsons is at least top 2) and the best CB group in the division.

Obviously the roster is nowhere near perfect but that's a lot to overcome for the other teams in the division unless one of them has a 2017 Saints-type draft with literally 5 Pro Bowlers.

Long story short, if we don't win the division I think it'll be more a matter of the Cowboys losing it rather than the other teams winning it.

Would it be such a bad thing if the division was tougher? Iron sharpening iron and all those cliches, but it's true. I'm not sure skating through a bunch of pushovers is best for teams, especially this franchise where overconfidence is always a huge problem.

A total disaster of a pick. I have no idea what the hell his deal is, but it is cool it makes the Giants suffer.

He will probably end up as a Chief.
