Put money in the hands of consumers and they consume, and give the money right back to the creators. They pay their rent, buy their groceries, etc.

Until people are competent enough to invest and make growth and have developed themselves to where they have that capability, there is no solution to all this. Reparations, welfare, handouts, or whatever.

Yeah the impact on the economy would be insane. I'm guessing housing prices would skyrocket initially. People with real property for example would be in good shape because their property would just sell for that much more. People on the other hand with money in the bank would see the value of their dollar plummet and would essentially get screwed. Ultimately the 350,000 wouldn't go nearly as far as people think and the uber rich would still be uber rich. It would just take a lot of middle class down a peg to the same level as the poor who are receiving the money.

Reparations to who? How can you decide first who is guilty of owing money to this idea. Are you going to bind the total citizenship of the United States as being guilty of supporting slavery? I didn’t own any slaves. Most of the country now or in the past never owned slaves. If there is a responsible person that can be found that is responsible for slavery or owning slaves then make them responsible. I plead not guilty and like some have said my taxes will be questioned if this foolish idea ever goes any further than parlor conversation.
