Sure, you thought he WOULD hit a rookie wall. That's not necessarily saying it's impossible that he wouldn't but you were counting on it happening.

Oh that? Yes. I am not sure I'd agree he is ahead of where 2007 Romo was.

I'd say that 2016 Dak made a lot fewer mistakes than 2006 Romo. Compare the postseason performances, compare how quickly they bounced back from their first bad game, compare the game against Detroit with a playoff berth secured and nothing to win/lose.

ETA: Biggest of all leadership, Dak stepped into the leadership role effortlessly, it took Romo nearly a decade to get comfortable in that role.
