That's pretty much what I was saying last night. I think they've grossly overestimated the market. No one worth a fuck will want to coach here.

It makes no sense because LR would have to have an in depth contract discussion to get from maybe to yes or no. That's not going to happen while Jerruh is spooning with red pube.

I'll still watch the NFL because I love football, but I won't care if I miss Cowboys games and when I do catch them I will actively root against them.

The ultimate irony is how any prospective coach in his right mind could watch this fiasco unfold and want anything whatsoever to so with this dysfunctional dumpster fire.

Any prospective coach would be saying, "this could be me two or three years from now."

He used to call plays. He sucked at it. That should be the end of that discussion. Would be classic Garrett though. Always someone elses fault. Makes sense why our offensive play calling didn't seem consistent from game to game. I sure Garrett was in a power struggle trying to dictate the offense.

We have literally tried every way possible to help Garrett succeed. We let him call the plays that didn't work. We let him be a walk around head coach, that didn't work. We let him surround himself with former players as coaches who will fall in line, that didn't work. We tried pairing him with different assistants and that didn't work. Literally there is nothing else left to do. He just brings nothing to the table. I have no idea why everyone paints him as such a great guy. He reminds me of the type of person who is super nice to your face but will fuck you over when your back is turned. I think he is really good at politics.

I’ll preface this by saying Garrett should not return, but he has a point if he was not allowed to cal his own plays when coaching for his job. This is just an example of the dysfunction present here in Dallas. If Garrett wasn’t trusted to exercise control over who called plays, then he should have been fired at that time.

I don’t think it’s underhanded for say, “But I didn’t get to do it my way,” if he in fact was not allowed.
