Great pick up for them in an area of need....assuming he can stay healthy.

But how does a guy who has suffered significant injuries the last 2 seasons coupled with his off the field issues get that type of contract?

@AdamSchefter: Bengals plan to match 4-yr, $12.2M offer sheet that includes $5,3M gtd that Cincinnati RFA WR Andrew Hawkins signed with Cleveland.

The titans have Chris Johnson, Dexter McCluster, AND Leon Washington? Interesting short person strategy they got going on

They were trying to shop him before outright cutting him.

Sounds like Costa visited the Patriots, too.

Apparently they've got money to burn. Maybe they've internally decided to let Graham go.

Not sure why Dallas didn't try this with Ware.

A team trading for him has no signing bonus commitments. They could restructure his contract to convert parts of his salary this year and next into a signing bonus. Would be very similar to just signing him off the street.

Maybe a team likes the Jets for Tampa's 4th from the Revis trade or something.

I guess most teams just knew Jerry would cut him eventually and they could save their draft pick.

That's part of what pisses me off about just dumping him for nothing.

@AdamSchefter: Saints are giving former Bills S Jairus Byrd a six-year, $54 million contract, including $28 million guaranteed, per source.

Damn.

Retarded. Especially considering the Saints cap space is limited to begin with.

Byrd is not worth all that.

I'd rather have Mitchell considering thecontracts eeach got.
