it totally happened
it totally happened
People saw it, I commented several times how good he looked and you know the fact that he was immediately given the starting spot when he got healthy.I wanted Bernadeau to start over Leary because he was the better player last year. Leary has proven to be really outstanding this year, but I don't think anyone saw this strong of play coming.
I really doubt you thought he would be this good.People saw it, I commented several times how good he looked and you know the fact that he was immediately given the starting spot when he got healthy.
So I say somebody noticed.
Of the two I leaned towards Leary mainly given his younger age and higher probability of learning Callahan's system. But Bernadeau is as good a backup OG as there is in the NFL.I really doubt you thought he would be this good.
Regardless...I am glad he is playing so well right now and that this team has 5 legitimate pro bowlers on the OL.Of the two I leaned towards Leary mainly given his younger age and higher probability of learning Callahan's system. But Bernadeau is as good a backup OG as there is in the NFL.
Well..... four.Regardless...I am glad he is playing so well right now and that this team has 5 legitimate pro bowlers on the OL.
Five.Well..... four.
Free isn't good enough as a pass blocker to make the pro bowl.Five.
The thing is that all 5 are legitimate pro bowlers...does not mean they will do it, find it hard to believe an entire line would go to the pro bowl...but they all have legit claims at a pro bowl nod.Free isn't good enough as a pass blocker to make the pro bowl.
I think you could find a few other OTs playing better than Free in the NFC now that are more deserving of a pro bowl nod.The thing is that all 5 are legitimate pro bowlers...does not mean they will do it, find it hard to believe an entire line would go to the pro bowl...but they all have legit claims at a pro bowl nod.
Free has gotten beat a couple times, but he is not a sieve over there either.
I'm sure you could, but Free being named would not be a shocker or undeserving.I think you could find a few other OTs playing better than Free in the NFC now that are more deserving of a pro bowl nod.
The sports media is violently emphasizing the OL to avoid complimenting Tony Romo in any way. If they remain healthy, the entire OL has a chance to make All-Pro from sheer Romo-backlash.The thing is that all 5 are legitimate pro bowlers...does not mean they will do it, find it hard to believe an entire line would go to the pro bowl...but they all have legit claims at a pro bowl nod.

He's not a sieve but I'd be shocked if he gets selected to a Pro Bowl. IMO he will not get serious consideration. The thing is that all 5 are legitimate pro bowlers...does not mean they will do it, find it hard to believe an entire line would go to the pro bowl...but they all have legit claims at a pro bowl nod.

Okung is having a horrible season.Without watching film on them or anything, I think Tyron Smith Jason Peters, Jared Veldheer, and Russell Okung are more likely to get a pro bowl invitation than Free.
I think I would take Staley over the others you mentioned, but Free is in the discussion. When I say he is a legitimate pro bowler, it does not mean he will be selected, but he is certainly worthy of being in the discussion and it would not be an out of leftfield pick.Without watching film on them or anything, I think Tyron Smith Jason Peters, Jared Veldheer, and Russell Okung are more likely to get a pro bowl invitation than Free.
