Fisher is an uninformed twit who likes to pretend he is plugged in.

Why wouldn't they have already told him to take a cut? Wouldn't yesterday have been the best time to do that?
Yeah that's I said fwiw, but he was pretty adamant about it already being understood by Crawford that was only way he was back

You realize that Witten playing was the exact problem we are talking about. Witten and Jarwin is still better than just Jarwin. Just not much better.
I don't agree with that, imo Witten was absolutely a liability

That's not a talent issie thoigh, that's a coaching issue. I'm not going to say McCarthy jas more talent because he cut a guy that Garrett wanted.

Dude, it is over. The things you say about Gregory and Crawford are why it is over. They are counting on two losers.

They really are sitting there and saying they are ready for the season save the draft.
It sounds to me like the talk of a Garrett supporter who still can't bring themselves to admit that the guy sucked. So now they stack the deck against McCarthy and the new staff and lie to themselves about the talent level being anywhere close.

Just like they lied to themselves about Garrett ever being worthy of the head coach job he was gifted. I've seen it before.

Why would anyone of sound mind assume Gregory will be here for 16 games? Guy has proven over and over again you can't depend on him.
That and the guy hasn’t played in a game or been in camp since 2018, so expecting the next Charles Haley is wishful thinking from our brain trust.

I'm not sure how anyone right now could say this defense is more talented. We literally lost two of our best defensive players. A 10+ sack DE and an elite level corner. Not even counting the bit player losses that I don't care about because they are replacement level in Collins amd Heath.

You've replaced two elite level guys with one old former probowler. I can't see how that equals better. But we can't be done so there is time for that to change.

The talent level isn’t “anywhere close”? Come on now. This is just delusional.

That being said, I do expect a significant improvement in record with this very similar roster. So all this is gonna be mooted anyway.

What I find hilarious is the negative nancies who want to keep bitching about personnel and also maintain the coaching is a lot better. They want to be able to have their 7-9 predictions because it’s the easy thing to do when the team doesn’t sign the free agents they want personally. To explain how this is possible with such an improved coaching staff, we are now inventing the myth that the talent “is no where close to last year.”

:lol

Ridiculous.

If the gulf between McCarty and Garrett is as vast as has been argued, then the roster as it stands TODAY, barring serious injury, wins 2+ more games than last year’s team did. Never mind after we continue to make free agent acquisitions and the draft.

Don’t get fucking chicken and start backpedaling because of this yearly free agency “the sky is falling” bonanza.

Get the fuck outta here, Schmitty.

Our "talent" has been stripped. It is obvious.

Watch Giants beat us Week One at home while dumping 34 points on us. Garrett signs his name right next to Eli Manning’s in the locker room.

That’ll be a fun week.

I hate Jerry’s fucking guts.

I haven’t said that in like 5-6 years. And it felt good.
I say it at least a few times a week in casual conversation.
