His bottom line is fine with being in the mix every other year in week 17.

Jesus Christ, right now it looks like a going out of business sale.

:lol
"Stack em deep, sell em cheap!"
"The more you spend the more you save!"
Mike McCarthy's underachievers and dead weight load em up and move em out sale!

Not winning shit in a quarter century hasn’t hurt him a bit financially.

Why would he(Jerry) make a splash here and there to get better?
Because he could make even more money if they did win shit.

This seemed like a good idea at the time.

So far, I'm not crying over a single one of the players signed away to other teams.

The real question is will McCarthy have any input in building back the D?

Will he have any input with Jerry and Goof on spending the money they have built up to finally get some really good FA's so this team has a legit shot at a SB?

If he was motivated by making more money, I think he would run his franchise a little bit differently than he has over the years. Especially the last 10 of them.

McCoy is a very solid signing, I have to see the money but as we stand here today he's a better player than Collins. It's anybody's guess whether or not he will be in 2 years but I think it's a safe bet that he'll be better this season.

At any rate, just give me like 2-3 names off this list, it's not that hard:

A'Shawn Robinson
Michael Pierce
Linval Joseph
Everson Griffen
Dante Fowler
Devon Kennard
Shelby Harris
Danny Shelton
Derek Wolfe
Markus Golden
Vonn Bell
Desmond Trufant
Chris Harris Jr.
Kevin Johnson
Mackensie Alexander
Karl Joseph
Will Parks
Tony Jefferson
Xavier Rhodes
Jayron Kearse
Ha Ha Clinton-Dix
PJ Williams

Give me Danny Shelton! Still young and a powerful run stuffer, with an expected contract price well below most others.

McCoy was a beast in his prime but it's hard to get excited by a 32 year old DT. He isn't going to suddenly revert back to 27 year old McCoy.

It was a year or two late. I also think he needs a real nose next to him.

Get a Snacks Harrison or Linval Joseph to pair with him, I might then find Jesus.
I agree although it's hard to imagine pairing two 30 something DTs out there.

No doubt we need a real nose, but if anyone can teach Hill how to be a pro it’s McCoy.
That is true. There were definitely some poor influences in the DT group last year. Maybe Hill will be led in a better direction with a guy who was a big star in the league.

This Tweet thread is awfully cheerful. Not falling for it.
