I still think Williams is the best RB on the roster.

Overall the group is underwhelming. Hopefully someone emerges. But I'll wait and see on Blue and Mafah.

Sanders I have no confidence in.

Most people at camp say they think Williams will be the starter... but they also say he has no juice. He wasn't explosive even before he blew out his knee.

It's a weird situation with Sanders and Blue hurt and not playing. Before Sanders got hurt some people thought he was the best guy (which is sad).

They probably already know what they think about the vets but I have no real idea what that is. That's why I hope they aren't too locked in on them. But I guess like Simp said, there's a good chance they find a way to keep all four.

I think the problem is that in these no contact practices the fast and elusive RB is going to look best. I think Williams has some power and balance but that won't shine in a no contact setting.

No doubt about your first sentence. I'm skeptical about what he brings overall, though.

Mafah needs some reps and confidence to smash into people more like he did in college, but he looks good.

Blue might be brittle. You rarely hear about bruised ankles

Hard to say, we are always ultra cautious this time of years with guys with minor injuries. We must protect everyone for the start of the season.

Yeah I'm skeptical about what he brings overall too. I'm just as skeptical if not more skeptical about Sanders and what he still brings. I'm glad to know that Sanders is displaying burst. But his on the field performances since leaving the Eagles have been pretty pathetic. Both guys are big question marks until the pads go on. I honestly feel better about Blue and Mafah. At least I have seen both of those guys look great with pads on in the last year. I can't say the same about Sanders and Williams.

Yeah, I'm starting to take the things he says with a grain of salt.

Either that, or... we're going to the super bowl! :towel
Yeah, I think we probably have a coach that believes in the saying "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all"

I still like Schotty, but he's losing me a bit because even though he's 50+ I swear he acts a little like a millenial. Talking so much about himself, frequent crying, wanting to be buddies with the players, explaining the meaning of his tattoos, always talking about how much he loves everyone...

Maybe the players totally buy in to that, but seems to me that could go south quickly if the team hits a rough patch, which like every team it eventually will.

I hope they don't cut him to keep Williams and Sanders.

Why did we have to pick those two spares again? Wish we'd just kept Rico and I'd feel pretty decent about our backs... Though I still think we're going to be wanting more during the season.

Side note, I hope Blue isn't one of these always dinged up guys. Seems like he should be back from getting stepped on/bruised by now, but they're saying he probably won't play this week, either.
Uh, Williams is actually good.

Sanders is a spare.

Williams is being slept on.

He's unquestionably the most talented RB on the roster.

And he appears to be healthy. Can he stay that way? That's the question.

Now, that doesn't mean he's a 1500 yard back. But he's the most talented one we have at the moment and that includes Blue.

The shinier turd analogy?

Again, unsure of the extent injuries have taken their toll, but he's the best back we've had on the roster since Pollard if he can get back to what he once was. And he's only 25 with low mileage. It's just staying healthy.

I dunno, Sean Payton couldn't wait to get rid of him.

If Prescott and the ones do not play together for even just a series in the finale, they will come out and struggle big time in Philly.
