Yep.
If Prescott and the ones do not play together for even just a series in the finale, they will come out and struggle big time in Philly.

Williams is being slept on.
He's unquestionably the most talented RB on the roster.
And he appears to be healthy. Can he stay that way? That's the question.
Now, that doesn't mean he's a 1500 yard back. But he's the most talented one we have at the moment and that includes Blue.
Yeah but we will have that element of surprise for that one week that Schotty holds so dear.

So for Milton's sake I think playing every snap makes all the sense in the world. The guy needs as many snaps as possible. Didn't have that many snaps in college. So the Fan said this morning that Milton is already set to play every single snap this game unless he gets hurt.
Sure hope he plays better than last game just for the entire offense's sake.
I guess they think they can tell that from practice. But our CBs are so weak, how do you know going against those guys? But on the flip side of it, if you're trying to evaluate Mingo vs. Tolbert vs. Flournoy vs. Brooks vs. Holden it would be a hell of a lot easier if your QB isn't air mailing half of his passes. In that instance I really hope Milton plays better otherwise I sort of wish that Grier was out there because while limited, he can at least throw a catchable ball. We all are riding high on Holden but had Milton not airmailed the throws to Flournoy for example, maybe we would be all excited about him. Or maybe not. I don't know because the throws were so awful.
Ideally I'd like our number 2 to be terrible given the current state of things, if Dak misses significant time I'd rather tank and win 5 games (with a chance at a franchise QB in the draft) than have someone like Rush drag us to a few extra wins.I guess they think they can tell that from practice. I'm listening to a DC.com podcast and Jesse Holley says Milton is so bad there's no way he can be your #2 going into the year. Not that he's always right, but I don't think that's a crazy statement, either.
Yep give me the high upside potentially shit backup. The Cooper Rush types might be good for a game or two. But beyond that you're just crawling out of a great draft pick.Ideally I'd like our number 2 to be terrible given the current state of things, if Dak misses significant time I'd rather tank and win 5 games (with a chance at a franchise QB in the draft) than have someone like Rush drag us to a few extra wins.
I might be singing a different tune if we're 5-2 and Dak is set to miss 3 games, but if that happens we can figure it out then.Yep give me the high upside potentially shit backup. The Cooper Rush types might be good for a game or two. But beyond that you're just crawling out of a great draft pick.
I'm thinking Militi's potential is anywhere between JaMarcus Russell and Roger Staubach.I might be singing a different tune if we're 5-2 and Dak is set to miss 3 games, but if that happens we can figure it out then.
If he has another early season injury that knocks him out for the year we need to lose as much as possible.
Sounds about right.I'm thinking Militi's potential is anywhere between JaMarcus Russell and Roger Staubach.
I'd say JaMarcus Russell and Cam Newton. Just my humble opinion.I'm thinking Militi's potential is anywhere between JaMarcus Russell and Roger Staubach.
Obviously I'd like a much better RB situation but one of our best teams of the last 20ish years was the 2023 team with a very so-so Tony Pollard coming off an injury and barely anything else.Pretty good stuff from Baldy once you get past the Micah stuff (he thinks Micah doesn't need any ramp-up, can sign the day before and be fine). Says the OL could be lower top-5ish, anything lower than top 10 would be a big disappointment. Also doesn't like our RB group, says when this team has been really good it's always had a top RB.
Don’t worry.
