WGAS? Guy is averaging like 6.5 ypc :lol
Don't give a fuck. He has 6 TDs in the last 4 games. I'll take that every day and twice on Sundays.

And it's not his fault the offense is having him run mostly outlet routes. He's run deeper seam routes and the like in the past and has shown he can do it along with athleticism. I have no idea why the change this year. Maybe because we have three actual WRs now with a possible 4th in Flournoy? Who knows.

Who would have ever thought we would lament wasting a kickers prime?
Lamenting the trend of having some legit talent with no vision of championship team building

Whatever they're doing with him and the offense, it seems to be working so keep it up.

Just loved the offensive line call on our own 1 yard where they asked Schoonmaker try to solo Payne.

Genius!
Guy is a total spare. Can't do anything well. My jaw hit the floor when they drafted this dub in the second round.

Postgame says we played 52% zone, 48% man today.

Little better than 85-90% zone.
Funny that it was only 50/50 but felt like we play a ton more man. Probably because we were so exclusively zone before. The Redskins offense was poop but you could see a massive difference in confidence of the players not playing zone every play.

i’m not saying our defense is fixed, it’s not, but it looked completely different than last week. Also it looked like the players gave a shit. When we stopped the run, we threw them backwards

I definitely think it's by design and not because Ferguson isn't capable of running deeper routes.

Schottenheimer tries to avoid 3rd and long like the plague. So he seems to like these short routes that are almost guaranteed 4-6 yards so that at least they're not in 3rd and long. Especially if they're in second and long.

Hard to blame him for that.

I think it's a combination of what you say here, and us not completely trusting our tackles. If you watch, Ferguson almost always stays in at the snap to chip the D end, then leaks out into the flat for the outlet.

Wouldn't have the need for it if they'd put Thomas at LT and slide Guyton back to RT.

I know his college QB was lefty, don't care....5 best linemen

Agree the OTs suck. Guyton made Steele look like Anthony Munoz today.
