Pickens was the only offense today and he decided to force two screens in a row to the RB who had no interest in showing up today for what, 6 and 7 yard losses consecutively?

Those calls were atrocious but I wouldn't put it on Williams. The blocking was horrendous.

I still think the deal on defense is coaching.

If for nothing than goddamn principles and general optics, fire Eberflus.

I think it's kind of both, but yeah the coaching is by far the biggest issue.

Everything defensively is such a mess I'm hesitant to blame guys unless it's just painfully obvious that they're terrible.

Last year may have only been a function of having a big contract year and feasting off the attention given to Parsons, but I need to see him in a somewhat functional defense again before I cast him aside.

Theoretically Murray is somewhat at fault but any non-braindead DC has their far more talented CB pressed up much closer against a scrub ass WR and doesn't rely on a LB buzzing 10 yards diagonally to contest a quick slant.

There's literally no logic behind that coverage in that scenario.
