Solid flier on a guy who could be nice depth, but again, it'd be nice to sign one single guy we can count on to start.
That's the thing, I don't mind taking a flier on a guy like this, but it should be on top of signing a proven starter as opposed to signing a bunch of cheap guys hoping it works out.

This is what we needed to do on the Dline. But WR, corner and LBer need legit starters. We'll and RB but I assume that's still coming in the draft. Doing that with the other 3 positions in the draft would be a terrible idea.

Amazing, and yet we don't do this with any free agents in a decade...

There are half a dozen or more accounting tricks that allow you to work around the cap that they either haven't learned yet or aren't even aware.

Lazy is the best description I have for what this front office has become. That's what happens when you are ran by a very elderly owner and his super cheap son. Not that Jerry was good when he was younger but he at least seemed engaged.

I think Stephen is just a pussy. A scared, miserly pussy. Too scared to do anything but the shortest, cheapest deals.
Stephen reminds me of a spoiled ass brat child who was handed everything in life. He never had to work for a dime ever. He never had to take a risk to get a big reward. He basically has been comfortable and taken care of by others his whole life. Of course he doesn't take chances. When you already have everything you want, you don't want to take risks. Plus I think it's also made him very lazy. I think he is beyond stupid when it comes to knowledge of players.

Wasn’t talking about returns. Was talking about being capable of scoring anywhere on the field.
Gotcha. Just assumed since we don’t and didn’t regularly use Turpin on offense, and already use Lamb on sweeps and short area handoffs, everyone was talking about punt returns and kick returns..

So I think we can safely say that "selectively aggressive" means signing more or less the same type of Olawale's they've always gone after in FA, just in a more expedited fashion.
