Caleb Williams tried to give his linemen a trip to the nail salon for a manicure. LoL. That's a quick way to see some Ole blocks.
Purdy got his new trucks.
Those are the two best candidates you could think of?
My God, what a shit show of a franchise.
Agree, I'd hate to be like the NBA where divisions are basically totally meaningless.Seems absurd but I don't know how they could change it without making the divisions meaningless.
They can't change it nor should they.Seems absurd but I don't know how they could change it without making the divisions meaningless.
Yep. But you have to keep it the same. Homefield does have it's advantages. That's just the perk of winning your division. On the surface, yeah it seems bad. But a 13-14 win team should be able to go into a 8-9 win division winners house and still win relatively easy. They can't change it nor should they.
This formula gets it right away more than it gets it wrong, but some years you're going to have anamolies like this one.
I remember the Jags crying about this in 2005 because they felt they shouldn't have had to go on the road in the wild card round as a 12-4 team (The Colts won the division and had home field).Yep. But you have to keep it the same. Homefield does have it's advantages. That's just the perk of winning your division. On the surface, yeah it seems bad. If they only took the top 7 records, then like was already mentioned, divisions don't mean anything any more. All the history, all the rivalries are out the window.
Stole this and thought it was pretty interesting. I keep hearing that the Packers are a dangerous team to play in the playoffs. On the surface, I guess I could see that. But looking at their 11 wins? Yikes.

I didn't realize how soft their schedule was. Holy shit. Where do we sign up for one of those?Yeah I don't believe in GB at all.
Such unfortunate initials.I thought they'd let him go for it. ED can rest easy.
That doesn't help the rookies with their fifth year option tied to it.
I think if any player of stature ties in incentives is an idiot. Any agent who suggests that is of ill repute.
