Tell them to Fuck Off, Mike. Do it.
Never happen. Let's be real here. If offered, he will remain the head coach of arguably the most visible sports franchise in the world. At the very least, the most visible NFL team. It's a win/win. If he gets them over the hump, he's forever revered. If not, he still stands to make millions, in a place he's already established.

As fans it's easy to say "Fuck Jerry. I'd never do it. I'd just get another job somewhere else." Well, it's not that easy. Who is offering this job? The perennial loser Chicago Bears? Maybe that powerhouse Browns team? That NY Jets job sounds like a dream landing spot. The London Jaguars? Point being, not only is Dallas the better job, they are a hell of a lot closer to competing than the above mentioned, and probably any other team that would be looking to hire him.

It's not like Fat Mike has a lot of coaching years left in him. He's not looking for a 5 year rebuild. And certainly not one where the ownership/front office is just as toxic as Dallas' is thought to be.

I'm sorry but that's unacceptable. You can't run a team like that. I mean you can, but you'll always eventually fail. Not allowing coaches to do their own thing is stupid. There's no reason to hire coaches and then place, or insinuate, that you want to do some of the things that the coaches that were previously here did. Rip the bandaid off. Everyone that coaches here, is hamstrung by past successes or failures by the Jones mafia.

It's so damn frustrating. And honestly, anyone that works here is somewhat to blame. You mean to tell me that Zimmer didn't know that was part of the deal when he came back here? Ridiculous. And then he laments that he shouldn't have compromised his ideals? I kinda feel bad, but not really.

Why can't we just have a non-toxic, non-dysfunctional team? I know... I know.
