Dumpster fire might be a little harsh with New Orleans, but I think it fits with Jacksonville. Their owner is just as bad if not worse than Jerry, imo. And the constant trips to Europe? No thanks.

And I was also including teams like the Bears, Jets, Browns, etc... in that comment. Since they are always in the coaching carousel.
Right, I didn't include some of the bottom feeders because some of them might get a good QB in the draft. (I hate the QBs in this draft, but I could be wrong and at least they'll be relatively cheap.) Plus some aren't hiring, or at least that's what they claim. And Cleveland already has IMO a good coach.

I don't really look at it like you. Your criteria is having a QB. But we've seen time and time again that doesn't really matter. Sure, occasionally that young gun QB can bring a team back up. But more often than not, that bad team infects that young gun, turning him into a bust. When is the last time the Chicago Bears have had what would be considered a top 10-15 QB? Hell, the Detroit Lions struggled thru purgatory for decades until recently. The Cardinals. The Jets. The Browns. They've all drafted the next best thing at QB. Yet they were still a dumpster fire after the shine wore off their savior.

Because those QBs were busts or just average. But the ones who were good did turn things around. Buffalo was terrible forever until Allen came along. @Genghis Khan KC was average forever. Even Detroit until Stafford. Houston now with Stroud. Plenty of others.

Now if you want to say the badly run teams make bad QBs choices, misevaluate their draft picks, etc, I'd agree with that.

Still disagree. There were some highly touted QBs that came out at the top drafted by one of those teams that failed miserably. Tim Couch- Browns, Joey Harrington-Lions, Richard Todd-Jets, Brady Quinn-Browns, Ken O'Brien-Jets, Chad Pennington-Jets, Byron Leftwich-Jaguars, Rex Grossman-Bears, Cade McNown-Bears, just to name a few. :art

And I already mentioned that sometimes they do work out and get their teams back. Not all highly picked QBs fail. Like Buffalo and KC which you mentioned. But then again, those teams had some decent success in the past. I wouldn't really consider them a dumpster fire franchise like the ones above. So they are a poor example for how dumpster fire teams are hard on QB prospects.

Also, Stafford isn't much of an example. He snuck in as a wild card 3 times during his time in Detroit. His record? 0-3. They were so happy with him turning their franchise around, they got rid of him. Even then, when he's unshackled from a losing franchise? Wins a super bowl. CJ Stroud is a bit early to judge fully. He's 1-1 in the playoffs

Lol in case a playoff team wants him....

Holy shit these idiots still think others want him.
He requested his release, and they gave him lip service by being cordial. Were they supposed to say he was a smoldering pile of dog shit? People can see that on their own.

I don't see the big deal.

He was suspended earlier this year. He wasn't deserving of this "favor."

DC.com finally put up the coordinator PCs and after watching the Zimmer and Schottenheimer ones, I think they know they're gone. Everyone talked about the Zimmer one being so emotional, but actually he was in a good mood for him and only got a little choked up at the very end about his son. Schottenheimer just seemed resigned to his fate.

Just my take and could be wrong, but I think the coaches know they're gone and maybe the media has heard this also but doesn't want to say it yet.
