Some may want to pile on Dak for this but he did what he was supposed to do and drove us down the field for the go ahead score.

It was on this defense to get a sack, force a fumble, force a 3 and out, anything! But no instead they give 15 yds on a facemask and let Hill pick up the first down to ice this game. Hill was surrounded by defenders and shook loose to pick it up. Totally gutless effort by this defense.

I really don’t get it. Every year we start off just killing offenses only to fizzle out toward the end of the season.

At least hold them to a field goal and give Dak a chance with 1:30 or something on the clock.

The hold on Clark was pretty brutal on first down though. If the refs do their job that's a totally different game. It was way worse than the supposed hold by Tyler Smith earlier in the game.

This seems very normal and not fishy at all, especially when you combine it with Parsons not getting a holding call in about 10 games.

FWIW, he said we'd had 16 holding calls against our guys all year. Then zero in a four game stretch. It's absurd.

I get frustrated by them sometimes, too, but they held the most explosive offense in football 10 points below their average at their place.

How is this not on the offense? They were completely hapless the middle 2.5 quarters of the game.

Dak did hit a cold spell after the first two drives but our defense gave up too many drives even if they held them to field goals. And then Dak did what he needed to with shit protection to get the lead.

Some of those protections still make me scratch my head. Of course first and goal from the one, passing and totally leaving a dude unblocked was pathetic on McCarthys part. You know Edoga is confused as hell. Don't do that.

I appreciate how after every penalty Dallas gets they make sure to point out we are the most penalized team in the NFL as though this shit is called fair and it's just the Cowboys doing what they always do.

On paper it was a solid outing from them, but I'm disappointed because they never got any of the key stops with the biggest one being at the end of the game.

This is my beef as well. I’m giving Dak and the offense a little more leeway due to the fact that they drove and got us the lead.

I'm really curious why our pass protection is so shitty on the road, in large part seemingly due to miscommunication or missed assignments. Dak isn't able to go with as much cadence so I wonder how much that is part of it, or perhaps something more structural in the offensive design.

Knock it off, what's the point? Last week we got rolled by a tough physical team. Nobody seemed concerned since we backed into the playoffs. It was nothing to worry about, right? Today we lose to a finesse team. It's ok, we got Detroit at home with an outside chance of winning the division. Spoiler alert, not happening. Gonna be an early playoff exit. Get used to it.
