Well, Buffalo kinda did in the first half.

But again this is where the Eagles aren't getting enough credit from some people on this board. They're very well coached and they're great at making adjustments and they did so in this one and that is how they won.

But they have holes on defense and I just don't see them getting to the Super Bowl when they allow 24-plus points as often as they do.
The Eagles are good, but Hurts isn’t good enough that they should be Super Bowl runner up/10-1 good.

That shoe is just taking an awful long time to drop. What does he do well besides scramble and tush push?

You absolutely cannot find a starting caliber QB in the mid to late rounds every year.
Well, that’s where we differ. You think he’s starting caliber. I don’t.

Unless we’re talking about starting for a shitty team. Someone just good enough to keep you around .500 A mediocre QB that can make a good living as a back up/spot starter.

He’s leading the league in passing yards, this isn’t Cooper Rush. He’s far better than say, Daniel Jones. You cannot find that guy in the mid rounds “every year.” Maybe you can find a guy in the first round of that caliber every year, but I even doubt that frankly.

This is just anti Washington bias, kinda silly really. There are 32 starters and he’s far closer to the middle than he is the bottom of that list of 32.

He is starting caliber the way that Daniel Jones is starting caliber. No thank you. Not even in the fourth round.

He’s better than Jones; but let’s say that’s the tier he’s in. You can neither find a Daniel Jones in every fourth round, and that’s also worth more than a mediocre split starter TE like Ferguson.

You are conflating not preferring a guy like Jones as your starter to what that guy is actually worth. Yeah, I wouldn’t want Jones as my starter either, but if I could get him as my backup for a mid round pick on a mid round pick contract for four years I do that all day.

And on the market that player commands a $100m contract like Daniel Jones did, Ferguson will never get that. By position alone a mid tier QB is worth more than Ferguson; see what we traded for Tre Lance, another QB who Howell is way better than at the moment.

I would absolutely cash in Ferguson if I had a Time Machine for Howell, save myself the pick I spent on Lance, have a better QB at the moment and have a lottery ticket that could be really good someday.

There is no other fan base on the planet who would say otherwise, just anti Washington sentiment. Or anti Smitty sentiment, that’s a strong possibility here.

That trade will look even worse if Dak gets his extension. In order to have trade value, Lance needs snaps, and he won't get them in Dallas. We'll be lucky just to recoup the 4th.

I’ll go so far as to say Howell might be better than Jalen Hurts. Hurts plays for a franchise that protects his weaknesses, Howell plays for a franchise that lets him get the snot pounded out of him.

He’s definitely a better passer than Hurts. Hurts is less turnover prone and is a better scrambler, though Howell is not a bad scrambler either.

No roughing penalty?

Justin Herbert f'd Goodell's wife. I'm convinced of it.

Goodell must've found his acne medicine smeared across her pillow.
:lol

You've been on a roll lately.

Just caught the end of that but how was that even a debate with the TV guys? He was 3 or 4 feet out of bounds. Obvious penalty. "Committed" or any of that makes no difference.

I'm with you on this, @Smitty. I like Ferguson but you take a QB who can play over that any day.
He’s leading the league in passing yards on a team that can’t keep him upright. Dude is better than Daniel Jones.

Yeah, he has his flaws. I’m not saying he’s better than Dak…. yet. He has many Romo qualities that you’d love to have though.
