Perfect nickname for Moore = Joystick.
Lombardi is exactly right when he says Moore's mindset was "Call more plays, I got more passes, I got more passes to call" and then said..."it became like a computer game".
That's exactly how it felt in certain games when the offense would get stuck in the mud, like he was a remote drone operator or something thousands of miles away from the battlefield just kind of operating in theory rather than responding to real-time changes on the ground that were happening right in front of him.
Everything Lombardi said here is basically an exact encapsulation of all of our complaints around Moore over the last few years.
He also characterized Hurts the exact same way I've been describing him all year, he's running a college offense where he doesn't have to do much of anything with his arm, while having a top 5 WR tandem in the league on the rare occasion when he does. He's a ticking time bomb that's going to obliterate that team if/when he gets $45M/year.
