I’m sure this doesn’t belong here, but holy crap. Where did all that Max Duggan looked the best shit at the combine stuff come from?

His throws left a lot to be desired. Not very accurate at all.

So he thinks we're spending 16 mil on Zeke this year?

Zeke isn't staying at that amount. But hopefully Pollard sign a contract instead. The tag boxes in those numbers though.
If Pollard is smart he'd take something like 5/50 with 20 million guaranteed. His workload has been minimal so he has relatively fresh legs but he's also 26 and nobody is going to be shelling out big bucks to a 27-28 year old RB.

That's the problem with the tag, now your starting price is 10 mil per year. And most of the time a 5 year deal is a good thing. I don't really want that with a RB. I'd want more of a 3 year deal. Like 3 years 24 mil. But why would he take that now? He wouldn't.

In my mind 5/50 would really be like 3/30 with the 20M guaranteed all in the first 2-3 years so you can get rid of him easily after year two or three.

If he's getting 5 years he better take a good bit less than $10 million per. Otherwise I'm more than happy to tag him a couple years and dump him.

He was ok. I thought Stetson looked better. By a good amount. I think Max is more of a gamer though so I'm not off the guy. Still both day 3 QBs for me along with Haener who looked solid.

But to me that's the tradeoff that Pollard has to decide on. Take more now or less yearly but more overall long term.

The tag shouldn't matter in that sense for a running back since they fall off a cliff so often.

I think this is why I'd just stick with the franchise tag Ala Schultz. Draft your RBs and prepare for Pollard to leave after this year.
