Is this the new norm? Is the new standard to call games off if a player gets seriously injured?

Yeah I hope not, it's too much. It's one thing when they thought Hamlin was dead or something, that's a rare occurrence.

When guys are hurt though, I mean that's going to happen unfortunately. Stopping games over that shit needs to stop.

It wasn't that violent. Just a bunch of idiots ganging up on an opposing fan.

I do remember one time Randy Galloway was mentioning his "worst road game crowds" and of course the Eagles were up there, but so were Niners fans. Said that might be a surprise given that area's wine-and-cheese reputation, but they were one of the very worst.

Precedent was set last season.

I think it would have to be very, very serious for a regular season game to be stopped again and maybe even that would not stop a playoff game.

But preseason? Hell they’re looking for excuses to cut those short

I didn't realize Jaylon Smith's in New Orleans now. He just made a nice hit on a 3rd down play to force a punt.
