Oh shit! That statement just is so much self centered drivel. The game of football has been around for a long time and the basis of the game is essentially the same. You think the days of Norv Turner and Jimmy Johnson and SuperBowl trophies are irrelevant? Or how about Johnny Unitias and others of his era are they would be players? Have you ever seen teams play when the Arizona Cardinals were the Chicago Cardinals. Then there is Bobby Lane and his days with the Detroit Lions. I could go on an on. All the names I mentioned I have seen play in person and many more. You probably don’t know who Jerry Rhome or Howard Twilley were. Don’t try to make me believe football only became relevant in the last 20 years or when you started watching it. The most change Football has made over the years is it has became more violent and sportsmanship isn’t practiced nearly as much as it should be. The playing field is still 100 yards long but the goal posts are repositioned. So now tell me when did it suddenly become something past itself and become relevant.

No, in case you missed it we are now in the salary cap era of parity and an OC that expects his bought superteam offense to just beat the man in front of you are over. And KM is calling those types of plays, we won't win until him and the last of the Garrett stink are gone

At this point of the season though you do need great players to advance. Scheme can only take you so far.

When Pollard went down, we were down to just one skill player star on offense and about 1.5 on defense with Parsons and Lawrence

That was the same boat the Bills and Bucs found themselves in.

Cincy has the most on offense with between two-four consistently stepping up, Philly has 1 and 1A at WR and Sanders and Hurts playing well behind an all-star OL. KC has Kelce and Mahomes and with the patter’s injury I think they are done. The 49ers have Samuel, Kittle, McCaffery, and two stars on defense in Bosa and Warner.

Dallas has to load up like Philly did… borrow from the future and trade/buy for 2023.

Offensive football has evolved since the days of Norv Turner, Don Coryell and Ernie Zampese. The 9ers are a prime example of a modern era offense. The Eagles also. And just because you attended a game where Knute Rockne or Otto Graham played in their leather helmets doesn’t change evolutionary truth. A fossil is a fossil, and even Jerry Jones seems to realize that 30 year old Super Bowl victories don’t carry a lot of weight today.

Moore was learning schemes when he was a youngster from his dad . He isn’t locked in on something he learned from his experience as a college player or pro player or coach. Football is a way of life for him.He isn’t a novice. Norv Turners system put some trophies in the Cowboys showcase By the way.
This is absolutely just not true.

Yes, but even Shanahan’s kid is stealing from the old Bill Walsh playbook.

I was also confused like Booze. Started wondering if his dad's name wasn't actually Tom.
