I think Lamb still projects as a solid number 1 WR, he's just not in the elite tier of Adams/Chase/Kupp/Jefferson and so forth.

He should get an extension in the neighborhood of 18-20/year (if he gets one depending on how the draft in the next year or two goes) as opposed to this nonsense talk of 25+/year just because other guys are getting it.
Based on what I've seen since last year's Chiefs game (9 games), I'm not even offering him Michael Gallup money.

I don't think it's dirty, just football.

It was shoulder to shoulder from a frontal approach, not a blindside shot. Parsons needs better awareness, or better yet, help.
A play can be legal and still dirty.

Listen, if fine with you all bashing the Cowboys and myself included. The thing is I can't stand is Eagles, Redskins and Giants fans doing it and reveling in our situation. Not to mention every blowhard on TV/radio/internet. Shoot me.

Just because those 3 teams won yesterday doesn't mean they're any good, but their fans are thinking Super Bowl. Eagles have some talent, not impressed with the coaching staff as of yet. Giants might just have a head coach and some staff. Remains to be seen. It was the Lions. The Skins. They have Wentz. Fuck them.

Don't be surprised when Dak comes back and we are still within striking distance for the division. Our defense will keep us in games.
Neither the Giants or Skins will finish above .500 and the Eagles will be one and done in the playoffs unless they luck into playing some crap ass team like the Saints in the first round.

In which case they'd lose by 10 or so in the divisional round.

So to me the most important thing is to get a modern NFL offensive playcaller/system architect in here, with a system that is fully integrated with what is going on with the OL, then go from there.
Yeah, but that's not going to happen with this family because when they love an assistant coach, they expect every HC they hire to keep that guy.

So you better hope the next hire is Payton and that Payton specifically says he wants his own guy or else it'll be Kellen Moore again next year.

He played a terrible game, but who boos an injured QB?
I’ll boo an injured QB !!!! They gave this fuck $40mil a year to do what??? Blow a playoff game and get hurt in the first game of the season ??? The cowboys fans frustration, patience and anger have now reached its boiling point …they have seen enough !!!! I , for one, agree with them … trash deserves trash …and that’s what this organization is and will be until that old liver spot and demon seed are still here .

The fans frustration aint gonna do shit until they quit spending money.

I don't agree with the way the team is run, but it's trashy to boo your own QB when he's walking to the locker room.

The main draw for me with Payton isn't so much that I think he's leaps and bounds better than McCarthy (I think he is better but we aren't talking a Garrett situation here in my opinion), it's that I think he's able to demand respect/authority from the Jones family based on his relationship with them.

I think he's the closest thing we'll get to a Parcells-type influence at HC but with the benefit of already having a built in relationship to where he presumably knows how to navigate the nonsense that goes on with them. One of the few who can demand the respect, and as a result fight getting sucked into the retard vortex that Jerry creates around the team, as opposed to someone like McCarthy who seemingly lied to get the job ("I watched every play from the 2019 season!") and is just happy to have a second shot in the league.

I think he's our best chance at being able to get Stephen to spend money in FA and to helping clear out pet cats like Moore.

Instead of just elevating the next young former QB to OC in hopes that they're the next Payton they need to actually go outside the organization for play-callers/offensive architects.

McCarthy is the definition of a walkaround coach and doesn't seem to do shit with the offense so I'm not counting him.

The only time Garrett's/Linehan's offense worked at a truly high level in the last 12 years (2014 and 2016) was when we had literally 3 HOF talents on the OL plus a handful of other Pro Bowl talents at the skill positions.

All they did with Moore is take a guy who had no NFL experience beyond Garrett/Linehan and promoted him because he's a fresh face with a recognizable name.
Rodgers did Meatball a lot of favors.

Who fucking cares? Dak deserves it, and if they could throw chairs down at Jerry and Goof Son I’d be all in on that, too. They all suck donkey dick.
I wonder why people near their suite don’t turn on the Jones, placards , epithets , etc showing their outright anger.

Yep, David Moore was saying 8 weeks was probably on the optimistic side of things. Even when the bone heals, there will be significant stiffness and weakness for a long time. It might be more like 12 weeks, and I bet by then they've thrown in the towel.
Yep. I posted earlier I heard 8-12 weeks was where he was going to be.
