Didn't Dak condone fans throwing trash at the officials last year after that SF playoff loss? Just sayin'...
Yep.

It's a dumb thing to try to make a big deal out of.

One, unless he's being carted off, who gives a shit about the booing.

Two, the "trash" looked like 2 crumpled pieces of paper or something similar. WGAS.

People shouldn't throw anything ever for any reason, but this was a whole lot of nothing.

you calling for the Big Tank?
I definitely am.

We already knew the offense would be mostly average this year anyway and even when Dak comes back he probably won't be 100% (similar to Russell Wilson last year).

No point in giving up resources to draft 14th instead of 6th.

I do think the Shariff hypocrisy is pretty rich, though. Usually he and his partner are kissing Jerry ass as the Official Flagship station and now he's basically saying to boycott him and hurt him financially.

Where was this thought process during the CFR days?
It's not even "cap boy", which implies that Jerry had things running in tip top shape.

If anything Stephen has been a net positive, but Jerry is also not long from the grave so if it takes making Stephen the villain to change things, so be it.*

*Obviously nothing will change.

I think Lamb still projects as a solid number 1 WR, he's just not in the elite tier of Adams/Chase/Kupp/Jefferson and so forth.

He should get an extension in the neighborhood of 18-20/year (if he gets one depending on how the draft in the next year or two goes) as opposed to this nonsense talk of 25+/year just because other guys are getting it.

He'll have to prove it to me before I believe he's even a solid number 1. He was atrocious last night when we desperately needed him to be a real number 1.

If his asking price is 18-20 million, trade him early and get as much as you can for him. No way is that dude worth anywhere close to that.

I agree with this. Jimmy G. would not be a significant upgrade and may in fact be a downgrade coming into this dysfunction.

I would let him walk and collect my 3rd round comp pick.

I'm calling for letting the chips fall where they may. Others have said this also, but there isn't a QB out there that will fix this.

They'll still be throwing to clown show receivers behind a suspect OLine and running plays from an over his head OC.

Why waste any assets for that situation?

I actually suggested that we quietly gauge his trade market this past offseason I think, and if it were me that'd be my ideal course of action if we can get a 1 from some team desperate to keep up with the WR's arms race.

He's completely overrated by the fan base and seemingly the organization and it's because his potential is conflated with actual production. He might get close to that potential, especially under a new offensive architect, but right now he's not even close to that elite tier of WR.

I'd be perfectly fine rolling next year with a 1st round rookie/Gallup/Tolbert and maybe a mid-tier FA signing (theoretically obviously, we know these dullards don't actually do anything in FA).

Yep, David Moore was saying 8 weeks was probably on the optimistic side of things. Even when the bone heals, there will be significant stiffness and weakness for a long time. It might be more like 12 weeks, and I bet by then they've thrown in the towel.

Wilson broke a finger I think last year, only missed a few games but he was pretty bad when he came back.

Was consistently around 70% completion % before the injury then was only around 55-60% after the injury. It sounds like this injury is more serious based on the timeline and the location.

So yea, let's fire up that Will Anderson hype train.
