But he looks pretty good right now and he had a great off-season.

Shouldn't we at least try and see if he can be the guy he was from 2016-2018?

If he's got it going, let's keep giving him the ball.

For as good as Pollard was today, Zeke remains the better interior runner so I'd like to see us maximize all of the weapons we have.
I thought Zeke looked painfully average today, not “great.” He just didn’t look washed up like he did last week and for parts of last season.

Kellen Moore is legit, and may not be long for the Dallas Cowboys. He is a really good game planner. And maybe even a better play caller. We should try our damndest to keep him as long as we can.
Agreed. And as much as I believe he’ll make an exceptional head coach, he isn’t ready yet. My concern is the fear of having the Jason Garrett Experience again.

We will see. I saw one play that he actually had a "splash" play, but I missed almost half the game, so...
Speaking of.....you might have to start missing the first half of the game from here on out. For the good of the team.

Agreed. This was easily his best game in a while. He's still slow to get out to the flats on swing passes to RB coming out of the backfield but overall he was solid today.

Personally I was grading him on a curve today. There was a play where he tackled the RB for a 3 yard gain but I credited him with a TFL because he normally doesn't make those type of plays.
He is still awful. Please do not let today fool you.

You are still scarred from the Tashard Choice fumble. and that is 100% understandable.
You don’t call the game trying to call around a potential fumble. You count on your guys not to put the ball in the dirt. Same with penalties. Yeah it could happen. But you don’t just stop trying as soon as you reach the 35 yard line cause you have a theoretically makable 52 yard FG attempt in hand. Your chances of penalty or turnover are way smaller than the chances you increase that FG make percent.

Amari Cooper with that key 12 yard son-of-a-gun catch with what you'd call the GW-catch to get us 7 yards from our eventual FG attempt.

Need to get a replay of that.
Tomorrow.

Or maybe never, not sure.

Also did he go on the patio today to watch the game? If not it's time to burn the porch down.
If Cotton was willing to get a billboard he would do this to win.

Yeah our kicker has a great leg but even still it's easy to miss left or right when you're kicking from that far. No doubt you need to move the ball further. Even McCarthy said so after the game. I think the run on first down was the mistake. After that I get not burning the timeout or rushing a play quick. Rushing a play often leads to a penalty because everyone has to get set.

I mean, he averaged 4.4 YPC today. I wouldn't say he was great either but that's pretty solid especially given the role he plays.

Give a game ball to Steele too. He was playing against an All Pro talent and I thought he did good.

as a starting back? Sure.
He is not overrated, though, and that has been my point all along with Geng. He was underrated in my opinion. And, until this year, way underutilized.

I don’t think anybody is questioning him as far as the role he is in. He is a very good 2nd RB, change of pace guy.

The only questioning I’ve seen would be him in a lead back role. And I agree with that. I don’t think he’d be nearly as effective as a starter.
Well, he obviously isn't a bell cow, but you could damn sure use him as your RB1 for multiple games if needed.

I think he's proving to be a great game planner and a solid playcaller.

I like him better at the former than the latter, but it's clear at this point that he's one of the game's brighter offensive minds and he's only going to get better.
