Running backs around the world are pleading for Zeke to get back to 1400 yards or else punters might get paid more than RBs from here on out. :lol

198 total rushing yards

Zeke 16 for 71
Pollard 13 for 109
CeeDee for 13
Cedric for 5

Take away the 48 yards end-of-half for Dak and he only had 22/26 for 189 yards passing.

Eeesh. what do you make of that?
I guess the dorks in the national media will now have to move on to another angle for their doom and gloom Cowboys "analysis".

Week 1 it was: "OMGZ....DAK DIDN'T PLAY IN TEH PRESEASON. HE NEEDS TO BE HIT TO GAIN CONFIDENCE AND STUFF. HIMZ GOING TO BE RUSTY"

Week 2 it was: "OMGZ....TEH COWBOYZ ONLY RANS TEH BALLZ 11 TIMES. YOU CAN'T WIN THROWING 58 PASSES ER' WEEK"

You have t try to get more yards there, regardless. To even approach it any other way is ridiculous. I am glad we won. We should have tried one more play before we set up for a 56 yarder. a 56 yarder.
Yeah you have to approach it thinking 46 yarder at worst. Guess they thought that last run would get more. We had been breaking them.

Russell Wilson almost took a brutal safety in OT. Barely got out of the endzone.

As much as we all hate Jaylon Smith, he actually played like a passable rotational LB today. LVE and of course Parsons were better but he actually looked like he belonged in an NFL game.

We'll see how long it lasts but it's nice to see.

No ‘eeesh’ about it. Different team, different game plan. I have ZERO problem with those numbers.

We went into this game with our 3rd or 4th tackle starting, going up against one of the best pass rushing DEs in the NFL. Does that tell you we should have thrown the ball 50+ times? It sure as hell doesn’t tell me that.
And the defense kept 2 safeties deep most of the game. So you run.

Did you not hear Romo at the beginning of the game? The Chargers play their safeties quite a bit deeper than most teams. Hard to have that long passing game vs them. Short/intermediate passes and run, run, run for 200 yards.

The only issue I have with the passing game numbers is that the offensive line played pretty well in both the run and passing games, so I don't know where this concern came from that made the offense go to a horizontal passing game for the final 3 quarters.

I think they left some yards and points out on that field today.

Kearse was shockingly good. Honestly he deserved a pick too. Really impressed with the way he played.

Kazee had the pick but I thought his coverage was poop. Brown was awful again. I'm not sure what coverages we were running but I hated them. Way too many receivers running unchecked against air until they caught the ball. I think we thoight we could confuse Herbert, we couldn't.

Agreed. This was easily his best game in a while. He's still slow to get out to the flats on swing passes to RB coming out of the backfield but overall he was solid today.

Personally I was grading him on a curve today. There was a play where he tackled the RB for a 3 yard gain but I credited him with a TFL because he normally doesn't make those type of plays.

You’re arguing with the wrong guy. I’ve already said I would have ran another play.

It’s just that I’m not gonna be all pissed over not doing it, either. A lot of bad shit could happen just as easily as picking up another 5 or so yards. Which would have taken us out of FG range.
