Not that similar is it? Did she refuse The polyvalent vaccine? I think that would be more similar?
Wrong.

OkWrong.
That'll fix it.
I'm cool with ending racism. If the field saying it actually brought about the end of racism I'm fully on board.

I don’t think it will change people though so...
Fuck all of that.I dunno, at some point you gotta shove politics aside and set an example for your team as its supposed leader. The health of the team is more important. People also look up to their favorite team's QB, too, like it or not.
Go look at the research and testing time each of those vaccines took before they were approved for public use, to start.I don't think he'd keep his kids from getting a Polio or Measles vaccine, so why is this one different?
It matters to the people that have politicized this from the beginning.I don't see where not wanting the vaccine has anything to do with politics. It surely doesn't for me.
My choosing not to take this vaccination has absolutely ZERO to do with politics.I don't see where not wanting the vaccine has anything to do with politics. It surely doesn't for me.
Fuck all of that.

So that should matter on how thoroughly they were tested before being safe for human use?Didn't those vaccines come out in the 40s though?

I don’t agree with that.
Take it to the Rona thread. I think there needs to be a new rule. Conversations that become OT should be shelved to the OT forum. COVID-19 is relevant to the sports world in itself but these conversations always devolve into this.
Sure, things improve with technological advances. I get that. But testing times don’t. You still need ample case studies on a drug. Why are other drugs TODAY taking years to be tested and approved by the FDA, but this one didn’t? They enjoy those same advances you speak of here.I would hope we've advanced a bit since then. I understand the skepticism but it always accompanies a new vaccine.

I don’t think this was given nearly enough testing. If you do, that’s fine. I disagree.
Are you saying the vaccine is going to make him sick? Based on what evidence? Billions have taken this thing.More important than his own health? I wholeheartedly disagree.
You know those vaccines didn’t have the entire world, the latest science, and just about unlimited budgets working on it. Not the same thing.Fuck all of that.
