Plus it helps that LVE is not in denial about his average play.

Jaylon could have a game where he whiffed on 3 tackles, took the wrong gap that allowed huge gains 5 times, and could be beaten like a drum all day in pass coverage, and after the game he'd look you in the eyes with a straight face and explain to you how he really had a solid game and that you just don't know the schemes.

I bet Smith's singin a different tune about now. I know maybe LVE is about accountability, but he's not offering much right now. Neal is outplaying him IMO, and that's not saying alot.
