Which is a bummer if we want a trade down. But it would push other talent down.

Supposedly we haven't talked to Surtain. Which would be unusual for the Cowboys if he is there guy. Of course the last first rounder like that I can think of was Claiborne...

Yeah I'm really not either but I'm not buying that the Cowboys are as locked into corner as some on here think.

A lack of 2020 combined with a fine but not amazing workout probably is too much risk at 10 even though the 2019 tape and his height/weight/frame are ideal.
I'd 1000% move up for him if he starts falling to 25 or so.

Yeah the numbers are great, workout sucks. But a lot of his sacks were sort of cleanup plays. Still I'll take those over some of the guys who never get the QB down. I just don't think there are any pass rushers worth 10.

Running a 4.7 at 270 lbs isn't horrific. The vertical was fine too, 30 is meh but it's not an unprecedented number for an edge rusher.
The 3 cone was bad I think but that's the only one I'd categorize as horrific.
You can't consider a guy who didn't play in 2020 and didn't blow the roof of testing at 10 but don't let these Twitter nerds warp your mind. Half these guys don't know dick about dick and love to overrate testing numbers, and especially this year with no Combine and not as much to go off of as in previous years.
