This PFF mock draft simulator on NFLN is horrific.

had the Cowboys drafting WR Waddle and Eagles drafting QB Mac Jones.

This is serious television?

Why the fuck would we draft Jones(or any qb besides in the 7th) after just paying our qb

We would be drafting Waddle in that scenario not Jones. Even drafting Waddle, I would be pissed.

Completely glossed over it said Eagles were drafting him, my bad. Tho I would lol at Eagles drafting Jones. And yeah we don't need to draft another 1st rnd wr. Or Pitts.

Looks to me like there's some value at DT in rounds 3 and later. IMO McNeil has the most potential to be a solid contributor immediately. The rest have health, off field concerns like overweight, immaturity, etc ..
I'd take a shot at em later but sounds like they also have real bust potential.

Horn worries me. I think it's his attitude and personality but corners are odd dudes sometimes so maybe it works.
I don't hate Horn, I'd be perfectly happy with trading down and getting him at 17 or so, although it seems unlikely he drops that far. If Surtain is gone and they take him, fine, I won't ever like it but I can accept that it seems to be decent value within the context of this particular draft since it doesn't seem like he'll make it to 15.

With that said, I'd definitely rather go Slater/Parsons and am about 90% sure I'd rather go Moehrig/Phillips.

I am faced with a dilemma. Do I watch the first round of the draft sitting out on my patio or nah?

Owusu-Koramoah is basically Keanu Neal, so yea, not really worth it to me unless he's there at like 25-30 and we can get decent value in a move up.

I mean I love the idea of a small fast WLBer in our defense that can cover everyone and fly to the ball with a D-line that can protect him. Problem is we don't have a D-line to protect a guy like that and like you mentioned, he is a bit duplicative of Neal. Plus I wouldn't really want to be in the habit of taking those guys in the first round. Now if Jaylon wasn't here, which we all wish he wasn't, I'd probably be a little more ok with it. Still to me smallish LBers who can cover should be available later. I mean Jabril Cox is great in coverage and available later. I don't think he is as good of a run defender but I think that sort of stuff can be worked on if he is free to run without guys in his face.

He doesn’t excite me enough to give up resources in a trade up. If he is still there at our 2nd? Sure. Sign me up.

Yeah pretty much. There are a bunch of guys that if they fell to the second would intrigue me a lot. And I think a number of them will. Which is why trading up from the second to the late first doesn't interest me at all.

I mean if Gregory Rousseau fell to the second I'd love it. I absolutely could see it happening. Do I think he is a full time RE, probably not. Do I think he is a guy who could do some great stuff in passing situations from the inside and still play some RE? Absolutely. Give me Gregory, Lawrence and Rousseau out there in passing situations and QBs will scrambling. But he isn't really a full time DE or DT in my opinion so I'm not really interested in the first.
