Surtain or Slater. If not bail out and take Horn later.
Let's hope Surtain can keep his 40 under 4.5 tomorrow!
Yeah, I want him and pitts gone by dallas pick. Sewell might drop into our laps and i couldn't complain, but other than that take best impact defender.

Have it lined up by the 8th pick to highest bidder.

With Farley off the board I'm fine with just taking the safe player in Moehrig. Forget who mentioned it earlier but it's like Frederick, fuck the critics.

I would compare it more to Greg Ellis because it's a top ten pick. Frederick was like 31 or whatever, which to me changes how I look at it a bit.

I definitely agree with fuck the critics.

The point is that I think most of the board would be thrilled with moving down to say 17, picking up a 3 and taking Moehrig, so why not at 10?

It's not ideal obviously but I'd be fine with it.

Would definitely rather take Slater though.

Because Moehrig is not equal to Moehrig plus a 3rd.

There will be better players available at 10. Slater for example.

I am a risk averse person, so count me in the crowd that would go ahead and just snag Moehrig at 10 if he is there and not risk losing him by trading out.

Yeah it's just hard to say if Moehrig will last to 17. If he doesn't you have to be ready to draft someone like Horn or Barmore which I'm ok with.

I don't think they'll take Moehrig whether they trade down or not.

I don't think so either. Much less so of they sign either Hooker or Kazee
