Jalen Hurts got that pass in there. TD Dropped
That was a good play by both sides. Really good throw by Hurts but the Safety made a great play on the ball to knock it out of Goedert's hands.

Patrick Peterson has a point. If the roles were reversed that would be flagged as PI.

Gotta admit, I didn't think Hurts could play that well, at least this early.

Me neither. About an hour ago I was having the same discussion with a friend of mine of Facebook. He made a comment about how the offense looked better without Zeke. I responded that I didn't see much of a difference because up until the last 3 minutes of the game the Cowboys only had about 230 yards of total offense. And as you mentioned, if you take away Pollard's 40 yard TD run, he finishes the game with 29 yards on 11 carries.

The only area that I saw a notable difference was on the passes to RBs. Pollards is a lot better in the open field and more of a natural receiver than Zeke.
No fumbles and a 40 yard run were also big differences. That's the difference between winning and losing that game.

However the 40 yard run by Pollard was essentially the difference in the game. Elliot would probably never made a difference had he been in the lineup.

My neighbor just brought me over a bunch of venison jalapeno/cheese sausage sticks he just picked up from the processor, I'm in heaven.

I am amazed that a bunch of you aren't in here just for your Baker Mayfield hate.

The weird thing is I didn't think Pollard was particularly good today. Other than the long run this isn't the game that would demonstrate that Pollard could adequately replace Zeke.
He looked about as good as Elliott has all year IMO.

What I don't know about his ability to do what he did today for sixteen games. That is my thing.

Point being, we did not suffer any today without Elliott around.
