One thing that we know is that Bill Callahan can coach the fuck out of an OL.

The Browns are missing two starters and they are not losing their minds.

Hey guys, how about the job the coaching staffs of the Giants and Skins have done?

It's really amazing, despite everything they're both in contention for the division and...oh, the Giants are tied with the Cowboys and the Skins are one game ahead and have barely beaten a starting QB all year.

Cool, cool.

Oh JFC they are gonna jack off to the OBJ catch again where he clearly pushed off, and they fucking lost the game
That’s what always kills me. They lost.

Same with the Leon Lett play in the Super Bowl, everyone always laugh at that, forgetting that at the time it set the record for the worst curb stomping the league had seen yet in the championship game.

He looked about as good as Elliott has all year IMO.

What I don't know about his ability to do what he did today for sixteen games. That is my thing.

Point being, we did not suffer any today without Elliott around.
That's true we didn't suffer, in part because we got some big plays and short fields, and in part because we haven't been trending great offensively regardless (it's now 2 weeks in a row that we failed to amass 300 total yards on offense).

Not saying Elliott has been great, but outside of the long run Pollard averaged something like 2.9 ypc. Elliott is almost always better than that.

But this is less about Elliott and more about Pollard and whether Pollard is a long term answer as a starter. Early results are not encouraging.

That's not to say Pollard isn't useful but I'm not so sure he'll ever be an RB1.

See how laughable that is?

Now think that we fucked ourselves out of the #3 pick. Not to same extent as losing top QB, but element is still there.

But, sure, rah-rah we're building something here.

We haven't had the #3 pick in our sights for weeks.

That's fine. Find a cheaper RB1.

It is pretty clear the Elliott we saw in his first couple of years is not the same as the nose-ring wearing fatty we have now.

Oh, you thought we had a shot at 2020 when we played Minnesota?

...after we had lost four straight to the Cardinals, Eagles, Redskins and Steelers beforehand?

Yeah I've said it before. Not sure what his magic touch is but it's amazing.

After losing out on Sewell I truly couldn't give a shit whether we're picking 4 or 10. Obviously if we're at 4 there is value in a trade down but it's easier said than done, and if we weren't able to pull it off I really don't see any difference in the caliber of prospect available at 4 vs. 8-12, given what our needs are.

Winning is whatever but it's been awesome to see guys like Wilson and Gallimore develop into potential building blocks. Lawrence is almost all the way back to his pre-extension form, Gregory and Smith still look solid in terms of an edge rushing trio with Lawrence, and if we re-sign Lewis we look to have a passable trio of CB's in Diggs/Brown/Lewis.

And Lamb is on pace for nearly 1000 yards without Prescott for 75% of the year, that seems to be flying under the radar.

That much is true. I just don't want to see us Joseph Randle this position again. Or Troy Hambrick it for that matter. I think people forget that being the main guy is a very different thing than being the backup or change of pace guy.

I don't think you will have to worry about that since Elliott is the best player on this team and shit.
