I guess this is how much perception differs, but Craig Miller on the Ticket was ripping McCarthy, saying he was talking like Wade Phillips in the postgame PC because MM said there was some good football out there but that doesn't matter when you lose. (He also said it's on him, it's his responsibility, this pattern can't continue, and he has to get it fixed.)
Does Miller not realize that Garrett gave us the "we did some good things" line after almost every single loss? All while never holding himself accountable.
To me, McCarthy took more responsibility in that PC than Garrett did in 10 years, which is very refreshing compared to the robotic deflection of blame Garrett rolled out for a decade.
