Stupid take by Bayless but of course the virtue signalling crew has to show everyone how righteous they are by trying to one-up each other with their indignant reactions over something that doesn't even effect the vast majority of them and wasn't directed at them.

Don't really think it's this big deal, but that's a lame apology.

Just admit it was a very stupid and ignorant thing to say and move on.

That guy is just a piece of shit and I can't believe viewers actually tune in to him.
People give him attention when he says stupid shit.

For such a BIG Cowboys follower that he purports to be, ya wonder why he never has any actual Cowboys players on the show...

He’s a con-artist that ties his name to the Star because it’s his cash cow...that’s it. He wouldn’t help change a tire on the Cowboys team bus if he couldn’t monetize it.

Unless that money can be rolled into next year to eventually pay Dak, I’m not sure I see the point of the decision.
It can be rolled into next year. If you don't spend cap space it all gets rolled over. I would have done it after the season, but maybe there is an advantage to doing it now. Not really sure.

It's not like we missed the playoffs 3 years in a row because we narrowly lost the division on the final week of the season while losing multiple games despite scoring 30+ points over the course of the year, often times against the very same divisional opponent we were going to head to head with in Week 17 for the division.

Oh, wait.
Sorry for the long post and the formatting on this....

As Smitty said, it didn't look as bad as I thought so I looked at every team's record when they scored 30 points or more from 2010 to 2019. I made a mistake and there was an extra loss for Dallas in the first post.

That means they went from being the only team that lost 11 games in that period to tied for last with Tampa and NO at 10 losses. They were 26th in winning percentage, but 4th in the number of games scoring 30 points or more.

To me, that means a couple of things. The defense has sucked pretty consistently for 10 years and time management and coaching decisions at the end of high scoring close games has been less than stellar. The difference between average and elite (as Smitty said) and the difference between making the playoffs a hell of a lot more times than 3 in those years.

The Cowboys will not hold a normal practice Friday. Instead, Mike McCarthy runs his STAA program – soft-tissue activation and acceleration – he used in Green Bay. Derived from the old Soviet Olympic training, it gives the players a chance to recover. “On Saturday we’re launching the neurological clocks of each player and it takes them into the game with their nervous system already active and ready to go as opposed to coming off a traditional Saturday practice where you don’t practice,” he said.
