Yea if anything I'd say he'd try for a NFL gig again, supposedly the Colts job is going to be open

It would take a drastic lifestyle change for him. You'd have to be crazy to make that switch.

If I were him that's what I would do. The NFL game is much simpler. You coach and the pool of players you pick from is much smaller and of similar level of talent. College recruiting is a beast of it's own. You could pick a top 10 recruiting class every year and have a team with shitty talent. Because the talent pool is so large that many of the supposedly "great highschool" players never develop into great college players.

Building a college football program isn't something you just jump into. It's a long process of developing and projecting. I just think it's a little quicker and easier in the NFL. In the NFL you can just be a pure coach and let the rest of the stuff be handled by others.
