Agreed.

That's the whole point of paying good money to watch a game at the stadium. You're there for the environment, after all.

If you don't like the noise, the atmosphere, etc., then stay at home.
Scream all you want. I'm talking about people who think they have to stand the whole game. Go to the sideline and scream your ads off.

I think Seattle will get dismantled in free agency and they don't have the true stars to keep the machine running. The Colts or Patriots were able to be great for a long time because they had Manning or Brady and the pieces around those guys were replaceable as long as they were at least decent replacements.

Seattle is built on amazing depth. They can't keep it.

Unless, and it's possible that this is the case, the coaching is just making average players look great. Then they can continue to plug in whoever.
Yeah their offense is one dimensional and as you say the SB champs become feeding grounds for the rest of the league.

If they continue to draft well they will stay deep.

Have you been there? Everyone that has agree it is the top of the line stadium.
I have been there. Several times. I agree that It is an architectural marvel.

But it's a humongous stadium, so you're pretty far from the field. Secondly, it's like a Vegas casino inside.

I much preferable an intimate stadium where the focus is the on-field product like Arrowhead Stadium (been there as well). I'm old-fashioned that way.

But, yes, the bathrooms were nice and plentiful.

They've drafted well and if they continue to do so, I can see them roll on like Pittsburgh has the last 10 years

Seattle's more talented on the defensive line, but that's about it.

They win because to a man they hold each other accountable and refuse to act like a bunch of entitled pussies.

When you're drafted in the 4th-6th rounds or have been booted out of the league playing in the CFL, you tend to play your ass off when given a chance. Pete Carroll's coaching job is the best I've seen since Jimmy Johnson.
Coaching is the major difference between these two teams? Hmmm. I guess Jerry the GM is off the hook.

Yeah, but they haven't been a dynasty. Just a good team, one of the better teams in the league. That I could easily see, sure.

Russell Wilson < Tony Romo
Seattle OL == Dallas
Beast > Murray, but not by much
Seattle TEs << Dallas
Seattle WR talent < Dez all by himself
Seattle WR depth > Dallas WR depth
Seattle Safeties >> Dallas Safeties
Seattle Corners > Dallas Corners
Seattle LBs == Dallas LBs
Seattle DL >>> Dallas DL
Seattle Punter == Dallas
Seattle Kick Return < Dallas
Seattle Kick Coverage > Dallas
Seattle Kicker < Dallas

Jerry the GM is on the hook for fielding a college backup defensive line, but most of these differences between the teams are in how well the players have gelled together as a team. The talent level is about the same (again, minus the DL).

Jerry the circus ringleader and coach-neuterer is squarely on the hook for creating a circus environment complete with cage-dancers that makes the Seahawks' team-first attitude impossible to cultivate in Dallas.

Seattle's created depth where there was none on paper. Dallas has consistently been unable to teach average players to step up.

It's more simple than involving GMs. The Seattle defense had better players on the field that remained relatively healthy for the season. Without the defense, they look like the NY Jets.

If you're talking about past performance and good health, then yeah. But it's not inconceivable that a lot of teams would take Wilson over a soon-to-be 34 year old coming off back surgery.

I'm just talking about right now.

You can't ask Wilson to win a game for you under almost any circumstances. He just has to make a few key throws and Beast and the defense take care of business. The punt coverage team is also hugely underrated, but their coverage manufactures another defensive stop every game.

Ben Roethlisberger had a very similar career to this point, and it wasn't until his second Superbowl victory that anyone thought he was much more than a game-manager.

Wilson's not there yet.

Wilson also doesn't have Roethlisberger's talent to give him as much room for improvement.
