Zimmer was bad as a young defensive coordinator. But Parcells believed in him and he has improved massively.

Hope the new DC is Rex Ryan. He's more likely to flame out fast and help bring about the total collapse next year that might shame Jerry into making real changes whereas Zimmer is more likely to be competent and stable.

I like that Zimmer won’t coddle the players. Feel like Quinn was too much of a players’ coach and that wore thin. This was a good hire. Ultimately the team will still shit the bed when it matters
