    2020 NFL Cuts & Signings

I have to credit that team. Back-stocking an already Super Bowl-caliber team with veteran insurance. I expect them to be in the thick of things again this year.

Grimaldi: Cowboys will be tested but have depth to survive Gerald McCoy injury

And how did Marinelli tell himself "THIS is my guy"? Senile.

Yeah, like a head coach that curls up into the fetal position at the first sign of adversity.

Sturm: State of the Cowboys - Optimism reigns, but the burden of failure remains intact

It's just my gut feeling, but I think that Jerry acts according to the accomplishments and temperament of his head coaches. Meaning that with guys with skins on the wall and more dominating personalities, Jerry backs off a bit and gives them the leeway to do their jobs and lead the troops. I...

Sturm: State of the Cowboys - Optimism reigns, but the burden of failure remains intact

If that GM is judged solely on player acquisition and fielding the best group of players for his coaching staff, I have to give Jerry props for that. I think the Cowboys have been among the better teams in the league for years in terms of pure player talent.

Grimaldi: Cowboys will be tested but have depth to survive Gerald McCoy injury

I'm not counting on it. Even his 'attempt' at reinstatement looks to be nothing more than a flippant remark on social media. Randy Gregory can't seem to get reinstated, but at least he looks to be trying. Irving just doesn't care, and nobody can care for him.

Grimaldi: Cowboys will be tested but have depth to survive Gerald McCoy injury

I fully expect them to go on with the guys they've got. From a roster standpoint, you essentially have to. If they're intent on keeping Crawford, and all indications suggest that they are, he's strictly a defensive tackle now. You're not taking Aldon Smith, Lawrence, or Griffen off the field...

Too bad that nobody can get him to care about football.

"Pre-existing condition". They clearly knew and they took a chance anyway. Rolled snake-eyes.

This sums it up well. I invite anyone to explain how Crawford making a 2020 salary virtually equal to what they're set to pay McCoy, Poe, Griffen, and Aldon Smith COMBINED is good business.

Certainly with Jaylon. I'm optimistic because I think they have actual coaches on staff who know how to coach linebackers. It was Mike Nolan last job in New Orleans and I think he did a good job there. And I think George Edwards has experience there as well. In fact, I think it was him that I...

I may be homering out, but I think the differences in this team are going to be HUGE. Noticeable and undeniable. There will be no doubt in even the minds of the few remaining Garrett loving holdouts - that do exist on the Internet believe it or not - that the guy was a never-was of an excuse...
