    2025 Random Cowboys Stuff Thread

If it were me I'd sign Keenan Allen or Amari Cooper. Neither is overly dynamic at this point but they're high floor options that can make us more competitive if none of the younger guys improve. I'm not interested in giving up a round 2/3 pick for someone like Pickens given his off-field stuff...

2025 NFL Draft - 2nd Round Pick - Donovan Ezeiruaku, DE, Boston College

There are different ways around using all of them with the formation, I'm just not sure if Eberflus will be creative enough to deploy it. But ultimately even if Eze is your 3rd most used edge rusher, that's still a bunch of snaps for a rookie, and like with most rookies it'll probably take him...

Yea, I mean I think they have hope for them but they were also ready to take a WR at 12, it's just a matter of an opportunity coming up that fits the way they want to operate. Otherwise they're ok going in with a less-than-ideal situation and hoping for the best.

2025 NFL Draft - 2nd Round Pick - Donovan Ezeiruaku, DE, Boston College

I think Kneeland could kick inside in passing situations, but ultimately I think our nickel/dime package will primarily be Parsons/Osa/Thomas/Fowler with Eze and Williams mixing in depending on how quickly Eze is ready to go. Parsons can also line up inside when standing up, so you might see...

They're probably talking themselves into development from the other young guys and Ferguson coming back closer to what he was in 2023, on top of a presumably better running game. I think we can be competitive and possibly make the playoffs with Lamb and a bunch of WR3/4's, we just aren't going...

    LOL @ the Redskins

It's nice because nowadays all NFL stadiums should be nice given the amount of money pouring in, but Skins fans want it to be open air and instead they're going to get their version of our stadium in a nice climate-controlled setting. The roof may be retractable but I'm guessing they'll be...

    LOL @ the Redskins

Much of the reason Skins fans wanted a stadium back at the RFK site was nostalgia, so it's heartwarming to see that instead they'll get a soulless, faceless replica of stadiums that have been built across the league in order to maximize profits, starting with our stadium as the initial blueprint...

    2025 Draft Chatter Thread

Sure, as a 6th year senior with 5 in the previous four years. He has potential for sure, but when I watched him I wasn't blown away enough by his pass rush to the point that I thought he could be one of the top 2-3 options as an interior rusher as a rookie. Year 2-3? Maybe, but what I'm saying...

    2025 Draft Chatter Thread

Yea and if they were "prepared" to take a WR at 12 they obviously know at some level that it's a need. All of the bluster from Stephen is just posturing and negotiating through the media to an extent. I think we can win 10, maybe 11 games with what we have if things fall right, but at the very...

    2025 Draft Chatter Thread

Maybe, I thought he was a better run defender than pass rusher. He might be a piece by year 2 or 3 as an interior rusher, but I was expecting them to address their pass rush with premium resources, as opposed to stacking up off-ball LB's who they traditionally don't spend high picks on.

    2025 Draft Chatter Thread

One thing I found interesting is that the Eagles really didn't do much of anything to address losing their 2nd and 3rd best pass rushers last year (Josh Sweat and Milton Williams). Their entire defense last year was predicated on getting to the QB with 4 (Sweat, Williams, Carter and Nolan...

2025 NFL Draft - 2nd Round Pick - Donovan Ezeiruaku, DE, Boston College

It's interesting watching this guy because he's clearly undersized but you almost never see guys in college with the sort of advanced pass rush plan, hand usage and bend that he has. Cross-chop, crossface with an inside swim, dip and rip, even a bit of a spin, he basically has every counter you...

It wasn't a prime need but it showed some foresight, and like you said, discipline in terms of going after BPA. That hasn't been the case in past years when you look at picks like Schoonmaker and Kelvin Joseph. But one of my biggest things this offseason was using top draft capital to get guys...

2025 NFL Draft - 5th Round Pick - Jaydon Blue, RB, Texas

Grumpy scouts: 12. JAYDON BLUE, Texas (5-9, 196, 4.37, 4): Third-year junior with merely five starts in 38 games. “He’s a second- or third-round pick if he can pass pro,” said one scout. “Not a real thumper. Doesn’t have a ton of *** behind him. But he’s a major asset as a receiver because he’s...

    Quick reaction Draft grades

If Guyton can just become an above average starter we're going to be nearing "Great Wall" territory on the OL. Smith is already a Pro Bowler, I'm certain Beebe will make one or two, and I'm confident that Booker will as well. We should have one of the best, if not the best interior OL's in the...
