Still don't see how you don't take that third. A third is a huge deal. I guess it's a little less valuable coming from KC, but still.

Mostly, I hope they fix whatever terrible process led to being so incredibly wrong on Mazi.

What drafting for need gets you.

Let's do it again!
The ironic thing is that I don't think anyone had Bergeron as a higher rated prospect and most would've considered him much more of a reach than Mazi. This wasn't a case where we bypassed a clear BPA situation for a need, the key was that they seemingly made a conscious decision to ignore TE until the 2nd because of the depth.

Someone like Mayer or Murphy would've been a BPA pick, not Bergeron.

Bergeron at least would not have us desperate right now. Thanks to Taco Mazi, our run defense went to shit, the exact thing he was drafted for per Jones’ own wrinkled herpes-laden lips.

It's not even about Bergeron though. The idea that they passed on an extra 3rd because they needed a DT and didn't want to risk losing out on one is a problem to say the least.

I like "herpes-laden." Syphilitic also has a nice ring to it.

That's stupid. McGovern was a pretty highly regarded lineman who had his first year plus ruined because of a pretty serious injury.

Who else fits that profile besides maybe Richards? (The draft spot, not the injury.)

I do still think and hope Bass might be something, but this comparison is borderline insulting.

You should be used to having your intelligence insulted by this incredible asswipe.
