The first round guys are only so so, but there's a good amount of depth.
I'll give you an example. You mention Kamara. The kid is 6'1" 248 pounds out of Colorado State. Highly productive small school guy. To me that's a guy who is late to undrafted most years. You're talking third round.

Just not in love with these guys.

Well, the whole damn class falls apart outside of the top 150.

6-1 is whatever for a designated pass rusher type if they're explosive enough and play at a decent weight, which he does.

I'd be shocked if he was around in the 5th.

Yeah, I'm not saying he will last that long. But I think that's an indictment of this DE class. Most years I just feel like there are more DEs that I think could become starters or impact players in the second/third.

I'd much rather focus at DT where I think it's atleast an average class. But I'm not saying there are no DEs. Like I kind of like Braswell in the late second.

I think the DT class is worse overall, weaker at the top and very little depth. I'm not sure there are more than 4-5 DTs that go in the first 3 rounds whereas there will be at least 8-10 edge rushers.

I guess what I'm saying is there are not 8-10 DEs I'd consider in the first three rounds. Chop Robinson looks like a third round talent to me. But he will go probably high second. I have no problem with the top 3 or so DEs. Except injury concerns obviously. But after that I'm just meh on the rest.

Most years I feel like I can rattle off 3 or 4 guys I'd love in the second. Instead I'm struggling. Like Trice, dude came in at 245 pounds. Didn't even think he was a dynamic pass rusher and then undersized?

The DT thing is going to be pointless. We are fucked there.

It makes no point to drafting one since "they take so long to develop".

Remember we traded a precious draft pick for Hankins because they have done a fucked up job understanding the position and how to acquire talent for it.

Hey we have extra fifths next year. Get ready for us to flip late round picks for players.

When you use a visit on a guy like this you have to think there is a strong chance on day three they are targeting him. It also may have something to do with him not being invited to the combine. The visit is basically a way to make that up.

I don’t think the kid is the next Larry Allen.

In this deep tackle class, he is a likely UDFA.

And the way things are looking, we will have to nail about four of those to get enough bodies.

Yeah I'm thinking sixth or seventh but those picks aren't much different than UDFA's. They are just the ones you don't want to compete with other teams to sign.

I am surprised they sprung for the airfare from Dallas to Tuscaloosa.
