This shit after the awful season he had makes me wonder where his priorities are. Is it playing football or marketing himself.

To me the thing for him to do is put his head down and work and do his talking in games. Workouts mean zero when he had the season he had.

Joe fan eats shit like that up.

Every time Zeke said he was in the best shape of his life, they believed him.

I take a different perspective on it. I think he is proud of the work he is putting in. Like a person losing weight this kind of stuff can sort of help them feel accountable to continue with hard work. I wish the kid the best and hope he grows by leaps. I'm just not counting on it. Having more talent at reciever is always a good thing.

Jaylon Smith, Zeke... there's a tradition of people on their way down posting workout videos.

How about letting your play on the field to the talking?

Call it the Zeke/OBJ school of off-season hype. Tolbert might be a tad insecure.

I agree, though I'd have hoped he better understood the cynicism posting something like this elicits. It will lay extra embarrassment on him should he lay another turd of a season.

I will say the response might be acceptable had the coaches (and himself) been critical of his conditioning as an underlying concern in 2022.

I for one never heard that

I mean he is obviously out there catching balls and running routes with Dak in the pictures. Which is what he needs to work on.

Now if he was running around cones and stepping over bags (cough cough Zeke) it would be different.

It would be stunning if he were to make a leap in his second year.

I mean I expect him to get better. I mean he really has nowhere to go but up. Just being able to get on the field and be serviceable would be a leap for him. You're talking about a guy who couldn't even beat out undrafted free agent WR's because he was so raw. So naturally he will be better. But he doesn't need to just get better in order to contribute. He needs to look like a different guy entirely. I'm certainly not counting on that. But I'm glad to see him out there working with Dak. Chemistry is huge when it comes to WR's and QB's. Not much more I can ask of the guy. And then it's a matter of does he have the physical ability and mental aptitude to become an NFL player. Last year he just wasn't an NFL player.

Simpleton stole it. I was gonna say, how about a video of himself lining up on the ball properly?

So you’re hoping for him to at least be Noah Brown?….
