I just became aware of this.

I know it is old.. But holy shit.

Ok, I can't help but delve into this a bit more.

First, I don't know who's cringier, the bozo "rapping" or those fans that actually agreed to be in that video.

If I were there and I knew what was about to go down, I would have gotten the hell out of there. No way would I want to have been associated with that foolishness!

And what was going through this guy's mind when he decided to do this? Did he really think it would catch on? Did he think people would think he was cool? Did he think Cowboys fans across the country would flood him with props?

And that delivery! That voice!

I would love to see the reaction of a real MC after hearing this garbage.

Superfans in general are cringey as hell, but damn......as much as it pains me to say it, Cowboys fans are amongst the worst in this regard.

Us "normal" folk are a dying breed, I tell ya.

That was bad. No question.

But let's be at least a little bit charitable. It's nowhere close to the worst superfan song out there.

No question it would be the freak #11, he simply inspires the rest of his team to live up to his greatness.

The Dallas Morning News' Calvin Watkins writes Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy has told Michael Gallup "he will be featured more."
"There's an expectation Gallup will be more involved," Watkins noted. Gallup was targeted just 74 times in 14 games last season and was often "running track" per Watkins. The Cowboys added Brandin Cooks this offseason and it's hard to understand how they could do that, run as much as McCarthy apparently wants to as a play-caller, and also feature Gallup. It's possible this is just offseason smoke. It's also possible that Gallup just wasn't fully recovered from his ACL tear last season and that he is more ready to step into a bigger role in 2023.

It's offseason smoke. I find it hard to believe Watkins is such a good reporter that he's getting information that the Cowboys don't want out there.

Yeah, this is old news. Mike talked late last year about how Gallup mostly ran a bunch of clear-out routes and said he should be running more of the route tree. Only now he actually has the power to make that change. (Thanks, dumbass Jerry.)

We're at that point of the offseason where there's not much news so the beat guys have to recycle old stuff.

I think it may be lip service more than anything. We just traded for a guy and are looking at all the top receivers. Gallup ran shitty and lazy routes last year. I'm sure some of this is just trying to make Gallup feel like he is still a part of the offense. They want him to work like he thinks he is going to be a big piece of the offense.
