Also, are they just supposed to acquiesce to whatever trade offer is presented to them so that teams don't "think" they're trying to fleece them? I wouldn't want them to do that.

As CRock correctly said, there's no reason for Hopkins' price to be a 2nd given the circumstances. So yes, they should be coming in much lower.

I don't know who this Livesay is but he seems like an ass.

I'm glad they are worried about optics when it comes to Hopkins. Imagine trading away a great WR in his prime for nothing then shipping out a 2nd for a PED cheat on the downside.

The key phrase here is "for a win now team." Jerry's not a win-now kind of GM. He's a "win 25 years ago when somebody else who was a win-now guy was in charge."
Don't fret, little camper. Soon he will croak and as cheap as they are at times, I wonder if he indeed has the Futurama pickled head in a jar thing lined up. Then we will be okay.

Does Cooks have anything left tho?
I mean he had 2 1000 yard seasons with the Texans and their shit show before this last season. He is 29 years old going onto 30. And last year he wanted out of Houston so I'm not surprised he only had 690 yards playing in only 13 games. With a real QB? I absolutely think he is a 800-1000 yard receiver.

The nice thing too is I feel like the smaller, speed receivers tend to have longer shelf lives. They don't take a beating the way a Mike Evans or Dez Bryant does. So yeah, I'd say he still has gas in the tank. He isn't the same as having 2 #1 receivers but I think he is a high end second receiver in the league.

If I had to guess we'll resign Fowler and Hankins, maybe Peters a little down the line, and call it a day for free agency. Wagner might be a possibility if he takes like $4M for a year but that seems unlikely.

I really wish we'd take a flyer on Yannick Ngakoue instead of Fowler but whatever.

I would like a little effort to help the run defense. Hankins for example or a different NT type. A'Shawn Robinson would do too. Wagner would obviously help that too. But other than that let's draft baby!

Where does this dude even work anymore? He's disappeared to local Baltimore shit or something. All I see him posting about is Orioles stuff most of the time.
Giving his Twitter a quick look, it appears he's become a political hack.

I didn't even know he wasn't on NFLN anymore. :lol
